her time with me at work and at home, so as a result is rarely left on her
own. We have only ever left Liezah with friends to look after for short weekend breaks, this year we decided to take a one week break abroad and couldn't take Liezah. The search was on for a dog sitter and we found 2 angels in Sara and Mark. Being mad about dogs myself it was clear when I met Sara that she is too. Liezah had a wonderful time, she went on holidays to Sara's house. She had lots of walks, playing and cuddles. Sara kept a diary of her frolics and was in constant contact with me throughout the week. All in all a great success all round and we look forward to our next foreign break as Liezah had such a great time and I wont have to feel anxious. Mrs E Allen - Hertford I have a 2 year old female Staffordshire Terrier / Labrador cross, being 2 years old she can be quite excitable and boisterous sometimes but is well trained and obedient. When I would take her out for walks people would automatically assume that she is possibly an aggressive dog being brindle in colour and would cross the other side of the road when walking her. My dog is completely the opposite of what people may think but I would still have to be quite cautious when I took her out. As a result in change of job, I was required to start my working day earlier, this made it very difficult for me to walk my dog at the usual time every morning. I then saw Sara’s website and contacted her as she was very local to where I live in Hertford so this was really convenient for me. In the consultation, Sara took the time to meet my dog to get a good understanding of who she is and her behaviour. I also explained my concerns to Sara regarding how other people react towards my dog and she totally took on board everything I said. Sara has been walking my dog once in the morning for the last few months and I strongly recommend her. My dog loves being around her and I know she is well looked after. Her rates are very good too! I am 68 years old and have known Sara for a number of years as she lives locally to me. I have a Cocker Spaniel called Ruby who is 11 years old. With age I have not been able to walk Ruby as much as I would like to. I take great pride in Ruby and want her to look and feel her best at all times. I have an 8 year old male long haired golden retriever. I bought him as a puppy and my partner walked him everyday to give him his exercise. Unfortunately, I separated from my partner last year which made things complicated as I work full time in the city. I looked into finding somebody who would be able to walk him in my area of Enfield. A friend of mine recommended Sara from Perfect Pets; although she predominantly covers the Hertford area I contacted her for a consultation, she was very helpful and said she would still be able to accommodate that fact I live a little further away than her usual clients. I explained that I would prefer my dog to be walked in my local area still as he is getting on a bit and can be quite grumpy at times. Sara said this would be absolutely fine as she drives. Sara has now been walking my dog once a day since October 2009; she has been fantastic with my dog and has really helped me too with putting herself out to come to me. She is very thorough when she walks my dog which is great as he really needs the exercise; he is also a little more playful than he used to be!

I have a Staffordshire bull terrier that is adorable and well behaved called J-lo. However she does need someone who can handle her, as she is lively and very active. Mark was perfect, my dog loves being around him, and Mark is very good with her and is firm when needs be. What was good with Mark compared to other dog walkers is the fact that he is very active just like J-lo and is very patient. Their rates are good, and I feel very secure and trust him to be in my home twice a week to take J-lo for her walks when I am busy.

I contacted Sara through a friend recommendation as I have a cat and was going on holiday for a week in April 2010. My parents weren’t able to look after my cat so I needed someone reliable who could come to my flat once a day to feed him and make sure he was ok. Sara was brilliant; she came to my flat everyday at the preferred time I asked for, my cat’s food bowl was topped up and she emptied the litter tray. Sara also provided a security check on my flat alternating with my parents by switching different lights on and off and checking the windows so people didn’t think the flat was empty for the week. This was an added benefit that put my mind at rest whilst I was away! I came back from my holiday to a happily fed cat, no litter tray smells and a safe flat….oh and a lovely tan! I will definitely use Sara for when I go on holiday again!
